BIO
I believe in staying true to my artistic vision, not to be contained or compromised by the unconscious, and to deliver pieces of work to be admired. My attempt is to engage in harmonious arrangements and to extend my thoughts to the viewers. My interest in art was cultivated by Georgia Jessup and her daughter, cousins of mine during my Middle and High school years. One of the portrait drawings done while attending her class was displayed at the National Portrait Gallery. Over the years my skills were requested to paint a couple of Murals in Churches over their Baptism pools.
During my years in college, Advertising & Design was my major. My goal was to design an exclusive Men's Wear Accessories line with my label, which became a reality at my store. Designing neckwear allowed me to interact with my other interest, and to deliver pieces of wearable art.
The Avant Garde gallery, P.Street gallery, in Georgetown, Pepco Edison Gallery, Atkinson-O'Rourke gallery in Chicago, Art League gallery, and the Art & Cultural Heritage Division of MD National Capital Park have displayed my work.
Statement
Boys - "Young musicians displaying their musical skills. Time is consumed but not defined by their outfits."
The Band - "At The Gate -"Young musicians performing in their neighbor. The outfits are meant to capture an era in time. Making the light and shadow affect display the depths."
