Jenne’s evolution from a figurative, expressionist painter to mixed-media collage artist took 35+ years and 85+ solo, juried, and group exhibitions. Jenne’s art is colorful, infused with textures, patterns, rhythm, and repetition. Compositions are constructed of magazine cutouts, ready-made materials, paint, photographs, fabric, oil pastels, and images altered from earlier works. She loves the free-flowing, abstract quality of collaging, and seeks to find the pulse of a concept and goes with the flow.
She is producing an authentic body of work where each piece feels connected. Art has peacefully transformed Jenne’s life and keeps her in touch with the kid inside of her.
