Cyanotype, 8 x 14 in. , 2010, $350 (SOLD)
Using the alchemical nature of art to evoke the transformative power of the masquerade I combined photographic and digital processes with painting, drawing and printmaking techniques to create the cyanotype, Self Portrait with Fish Heads. The color blue, the Junkanoo costume and the fish heads celebrate powerful spiritual forces.
