Light of Our Future Project Description
Children's National Health System is the premier provider of pediatric care in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Each day, our experts give kids the best possible care and the chance to be their happiest, healthiest selves. Because we don’t just want kids to grow up. We want them to grow up stronger
The purpose of the exhibition and special programming events is to uplift the spirits of the children, families, hospital staff and visitors – all those who view the artwork and hear the music. The young patients and their families especially need brightened spirits, hearts and minds. The youth of today are the light of our future. As such, we use our artistic talents to produce works that will inspire them to have hope, know they matter, encourage their healing process and present reasons for their longevity to stay stronger.
