Artist Statement

Andrea Clement was born in Tunapuna, Trinidad in the West Indies. As a child she spent every weekend at the beach with her family and every year at Carnival. These memories are present in her colorful paintings which depict scenes and faces, many of her exotic past growing up in the tropics.
