About The Artist
Artist Statement
I create emotional and expressional impressions of life. They are created in several mediums such as digital, pastels, watercolor, oil paint, and wood. Color, line, space, figure, and movement are important elements. Events (parties, sports, and family gathering), music, history, and other African American artists influence my work.

Craig Screven is a graduate of the Ohio State University. He is the owner and curator of Silent Presence Gallery. He has exhibited his artwork in Ohio, Kentucky, Las Vegas, New York, California and on the Internet.
