About The Artist
Artist Statement
I am largely a self-taught artist, although I have taken art related colleges causes. I love color, pattern and am equally attracted to the contrast of black and white. I can always count on it for good design and patterns, There is often an element of collage in my work. I paint with acrylic because of its speed, but I don't shy away from other media. I paint because it makes life easier. I use art to communicate with people about things that matter to me, to confront, respond and entertain. I like to have my work engage the viewer, evoke emotions. I like telling stories with my art.
